within the framework of which will be held the 

III International Scientific and Educational Conference “The Internationalization of Continuing Medical Education. Prospection.”,

which will take place on

April 25 - 26, 2019 

The main goals of the conference: the revitalization of international professional exchange of experience in the use of innovative educational technologies in medical schools; discussion of achievements, problems and prospects for the integration of Kazakhstan educational space  into the world educational space and the modernization of medical education and science; discussion of continuing education strategies that will contribute to the further development of scientific research and scientific knowledge in medical education and science.

Scientific sessions of the conference:

On April 25, 2019, it is planned to hold a round table on “Towards a model of university autonomy in the Republic of Kazakhstan” with the participation of medical education leaders on programs for the development and successful implementation of the autonomy of universities in the Republic of Kazakhstan and foreign specialists. 

The science week will be held by the grand opening of the student sport complex by the Olympic champions of Kazakhstan on April 25, 2019. Sports rehabilitation specialists, coaches and athletes will attend the section "Modern approaches in the development of sports rehabilitation in Kazakhstan - focus on achievements in professional sports".

On April 26, 2019, workshop “Medical Education Imitation Technologies” will be held in the simulation center of WKMOSMU.

We are also pleased to invite you to attend the workshops for medical practitioners with training in technical approaches and stages of operations under the guidance of leading neurosurgery and traumatology specialists at the CadaverCenter of the University.

Abstracts are submitted in the journal "Panminerva Medica", indexed by BIOSIS Previews, Current Contents / Clinical Medicine, EMBASE, PubMed / MEDLINE, Science Citation Index Expanded (SciSearch), Scopus (Impact Factor 2,102).

 

Abstract should be submitted according to the following instructions:

 

 

  • Language: English
  • File format: Word
  • Minimum number of words: 400 including titles, authors and affiliations
  • Maximum number of words: 600 including titles, authors and affiliations
  • Title: concise, in bold, small letters
  • Authors: in upper/lower cases in the following way: 

 

1)       Full first name, middle name in upper case, surname with first letter in upper case (i.e. John M. Smith) 

2)       The affiliation needs to contain what follows:

  • Unit or Section,
  • Department,
  • University and/or Hospital,
  • Town
  • Country

(in this order, the street address is not needed)

3)       In case of multiple affiliations, please super scribe the relevant numbers

4)       Please put a comma and a space between the names of the authors

5)       Please put a semicolon between the authors’ affiliations

6)       The corresponding author should be indicated with *

7)       Under the affiliation list, please indicate the corresponding authors’ details.

b)      The authors from the affiliations

c)       The affiliation from the corresponding author’s details

d)      The corresponding author’s details from the text.

The abstract for original articles should be divided into the following sections:

a)       BACKGROUND: description of the objective/aim of the research

b)      METHODS: description of the methods used

c)       RESULTS: results of the research

d)      CONCLUSIONS: brief conclusion

The abstract for case reports should be divided into the following sections:

a)       BACKGROUND: a brief introduction of the case reported

b)      CASE REPORT: description of the case

  • Only the standard abbreviations used in medicine are accepted), whereas the other acronyms should be written in extenso the first time they appear in the abstract. After that, the acronym can be used. E.g.: Non small cell lung cancer (NSCLC)
  • Figures, tables and references are not accepted.
